Using links tо museums and tours in your audio guides
You can place on the museums, tours, exhibits or attractions pages of your audio guide links to other museums or tours from the izi.TRAVEL CMS database. In this way, you can recommend a visit to the museum or trying another tour.
How it looks on the screen of the mobile audio guide
On the information screen related to the museum (or tour, exhibit or point of interest), under the description block, a set of links is shown. These links include the photo and name of another museum or tour. Tap on the link and another museum or tour will open in the mobile audio guide.
How to add a link to a museum or tour
Links to museums and tours are set in the properties section of the object (museum, tour, exhibit or tourist attraction). We give an example of how to add a link to a museum, because the same principles can be applied to other objects.
Go to the properties of the museum and open the “Links” section.
To add a reference to the museum, click on “Add link to museum”. In the window which opens, mark the museum(s) to which you wish to add a link. In our example, we chose two museums:
When a museum has been selected, click on the “Add” button. You will see that the selected museum is added to the list. Immediately, these links will be available in the mobile audio guide. The figure below shows what these links look like in izi.TRAVEL CMS and the mobile audio guide:
To add a reference to the tour, click on “Add link to tour”. In the window which opens, select the tour and click on “Add”.
The selected tour will be added to the list of references. The figure below shows what the link looks like in izi.TRAVEL CMS and the mobile audio guide:
