It expanded its land and influence to become the fifth largest monastery in the country. However, in July 1537, the House was dissolved on the orders of Henry VIII and within a few decades all traces of its existence had disappeared. This walk takes you around the site of this once great establishment and tells you its story

This is excellent. We (Addlestone & Virginia Water Cubs) have done this walk with The Museum many times and next time we come we'll use this. Nice commentary Emma!
