Founded in 666AD by Erkenwald, later Bishop of London, Chertsey Abbey was the first religious house to be built in Surrey. This is excellent. We (Addlestone & Virginia Water Cubs) have done this walk with The Museum many times and next time we come we'll use this. Nice commentary Emma!
