This temple is nearly 900 years old. The temple is built in Star shape and built on a raised platform in the center and subsidiary shrines and colonnades.

The magnificent shrine dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Interestingly, here the lord is worshiped in the female form of Mohini. There is an interesting story of why Vishnu took the female form of Mohini to kill the demon Bhasmasur and we will talk about this in the audio guide.
