Hello, today we are going to San Leo. San Leo is a small town located at the foot of Mount Feltro near San Marino. At the top of the mountain there is a fortress of the same name, which primarily attracts many tourists here. The city is named after Saint Leo, friend of Saint Marino, who founded San Marino. For two years from 962 to 964, San Leo was even the capital of Italy. Getting to San Leo is easy. From Rimini station we take bus number 160 to Pietracutta, and then by minibus, the schedule is at the stop. From Rimini to San Leo is about 30 kilometers. Our walk lasts 1.5 hours plus the time spent in the fortress. The excursion route will be 2 kilometers, we begin the walk from the city gates and end with a visit to the fortress.
