О музее

Also known as Sutton Veny Old Church, St Leonard’s Anglican parish church has transformed to a partial ruin with only the chancel portion intact. Originating as a medieval structure it’s well embedded in the landscape of the Wylye Valley, West Wiltshire, just south of Warminster town. It is now enjoyed as one of the Parish’s oldest architectural features, still quietly serving as a place of interest over 900 years.

St Leonard’s has been in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust since 1971. The site is accessible from a signposted track off Duck Street, passing through a kissing-gate to the grass churchyard. Enter the church building through the ruined grass-covered nave to the west door of the chancel.
