At that time, around 1918, when the First World War ended, artistic currents were revolutionised, a strong depression and sadness was sweeping through much of Europe. Although most artists wanted to express more or less the same thing, there were artistic currents that allowed them to be differentiated, some of them were dadaism, abstract art, surrealism and the new objectivity.
