Muzeu Brasov Art Museum

The permanent exhibition of Brasov Art Museum, the National Gallery, brings together a selection of works representative for the modern fine art of Romania (painting and sculpture). The exhibition includes pieces that illustrate the evolution of the Transylvanian painting of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries and of the Romanian art of the first half of the nineteenth century and the postwar period. Along with the art works of Romanian masters, the works of active artists of Brasov are exposed in the museum, from the portraits of Saxon patricians to the works of the modern artists of Brasov.
