Despre muzeu
The Museum of Local History is a monument of architecture of national importance of the 14th century. - The Murowana Tower.
It is a unique monument of the defensive architecture of medieval Volyn. It is located in the southeastern part of Castle Hill on its steep slope. The oldest core of the structure - the donjon - was built in the second half of the fourteenth century. and is the oldest stone structure of Castle Hill, Ostroh and Rivne.
Today, the Murovany Tower houses the Ostrog Museum of Local History with exhibitions of the historical and artistic departments of the reserve and museum collections of archaeology, icon painting, painting, portrait and plot painting, sculpture, ceramics, weapons, utensils, other historical monuments, and other historical monuments.

Дуже приємний голос у гіда! Матеріал подано цікаво, без води. Однозначно рекомендую і музей до відвідування і аудіогід для супроводу!
