Dear guests! You are greeted by Borili - the birthplace of the great Kazakh writer, public figure and scientist Mukhtar Omarkhanuly Auezov. "Borili" in translation from the Kazakh language means "den of wolves". This area is described by Mukhtar Auezov in the story "Fierce Gray".

Borili is the wintering of the Auez clan.

Borili is a witness of M.Auezov's childhood, adolescence and youth. On September 28, 1897, Mukhtar Auezov was born in the Ayakkaragan area, one kilometer west of Borili.

There is the grave of M. Auezov's parents In Borili, not far from the writer's house-museum.

In 1987, the house-museum of Mukhtar Auezov was opened.

 At the entrance, you are greeted by a marble bust of the writer by sculptor Muratbek Zhanbolatov behind which you see a tapestry, by the artist I. Khmeleva, depicting the endless Kazakh steppe and Shyngystau nature, where Mukhtar Auezov was born and raised.

The museum exposition is divided into eight exhibition halls. To view the exposition, go left.
