Welcome to Bratislava, the charming little capital city of Slovakia!

Although small, Bratislava doesn’t lack any important feature every city should possess. From thrilling history as the site of various significant events, plentiful cultural activities and tremendous touristic attractions to bustling night life as a popular students‘ city. There is no other capital where you can experience so much yet still enjoy the small-town feeling of the city. That’s why everyone calls Bratislava by its most characteristic name: Little-big City.

Slovakia really does have big history. Since the 5th century when the slavic tribes settled in this territory, Slovak nation came from being claimed by one empire to another. The way towards independence was long and many times blood was spilled. From glorious Great Moravia, through Royal Hungary and Austro-Hungarian Empire when Bratislava for some time played a prominent role as the capital and coronation city of Hungarian kings to the 20th century of three regimes: democracy, nazism and socialism. The journey was really long, until the Velvet Revolution of 1989 opened the doors to democracy, and 4 years later Slovakia became an independent country and so has it remained ever since.

On our tour you will see the best of Bratislava and discover some hidden treasures of the old town. Let us walk you through beautiful squares with colourful houses, narrow paved roads and open-air markets and introduce you to some significant locals who will tell you their life stories. The tour will have 13 stops, is easily accessible and all the sights are within walking distance. We have a lot to see so let's start the tour right now!

Great guide for a day tour. Covers almost everything (including the Blue Church, which is somewhat far) except for the castle,

But missing the castle into the tour! But everything else is great!

This tour gives a great overview of the tiny old town in under two hours. I definitely recommend this audio tour for a day trip to Bratislava.
