About the museum
Before we start, you should know that the Villa Borghese is not freely accessible and that the number of visitors is carefully limited. The best way to visit is with a reservation for a particular time slot. To do so, you can call the Villa on 00 39 0632 810. That’s 00 for the international code, then 39 for Italy followed by the number 0 632 810. You can also pre-book on the villa’s official website.
You’ll be allocated a set visiting time. You must be there 30 minutes beforehand to collect and pay for your tickets. Note that unclaimed tickets are likely to be re-sold.
That said, during the low season – November to March – you can always just go there and queue for 1 to 2 hours for the next visit.
