You can discover lots not only in the VIECON - Vienna Congress & Convention Center. The surrounding area also has a whole bunch of things to offer. Because here you're on historic ground that has always focused on the future and progress. Come along on a walk full of contrasts that starts at the VIECON - Vienna Congress & Convention Center and leads you to the campus of the Vienna University of Economics and Business and to Viertel Zwei – one of Vienna's most impressive urban development projects. The site of the 1873 Vienna World's Fair was located precisely here. The Krieau harness racing track, the Green Prater, and, of course, the Wurstelprater with all its amusements also lie along the way. And I'll also show you the Stuwerviertel, where you can discover a typical Viennese Gründerzeit neighborhood that today offers great dining experiences. You will need about two hours for this walk.
