About the museum
The Alberto Jiménez-Arellano Alonso Foundation was created on May 3rd of 2004 inside Valladolid’s college thanks to the agreement settled with the family Jiménez-Arellano Alonso. The work of collection, developed by the family since the 50’s, gave place to this generous and altruist donation, which has the name of their son.
The foundation is situated in Valladolid, the perfect place to know the collection, where the sculpture has an important meaning. Displayed in rooms of the palace Santa Cruz, the collected works found shelter not only for being in a city and zone really linked with the sculpture tradition, but also because of their care and conservation.
