The Newark Opera House

Built in 1885, the Newark Opera House, originally called Caskey Hall, hosted a number of sufferage meetings in the years leading up to the passage of the 19th Amendment, including speeches from local Suffragists, Mabel Vernon and Florence Bayard Hilles.
