About the museum

"Piazza Duomo - A wealth for everyone" provides special openings on weekends between April 14 and June 30, 2018,  for tourists and residents.


For the first time, the Cathedral, its Crypt and the Diocesan Museum, will be visited through a single ticket and with the support of an audioguide.


New communication devices will guide visitors by ensuring a greater level of accessibility to content, in English and French. The Diocesan Museum of Sacred Art will be the background for special events related to anniversaries and national holidays.


Promoters of the project are the Archidiocese of Lecce and the Parish Maria SS.Assunta Cathedral of Lecce, Aps 34° Fuso with the support of the Puglia Region (Open Churches - Culture and Cultural Heritage Fund).
