Kanyok Ceremonial/ Ritual Pot
Ceramic pottery with geometric decorations with a led also decorated with human figure. This pot is used for rituals.
The pots were made by Kanyok women who are excellent potters, very little has been written about Kanyok ceramic work. However it seems that it had an influence on early Luba pottery. This is an example of an old Luba lidded ceremonial pot, covered with mystical designs.
