About the museum
Built in the 7th Century by Pallava Kings. This temple is one of the 108 Divya Desams. To know more about Divya Desam and what it means to the locals, please listen to the audio guide.
The very unusual and unique aspect about this temple is the presence of presiding deity Lord Vishnu in 3 different poses. The ground floor has Vishnu in a seated position, the first floor Vishnu is in reclining pose and in the second floor, he is in the standing pose.
