About the museum
The Rossland Museum and Discovery Centre offers the early history of Rossland. This includes Consolidated Mining & Smelting Co., West Kootenay Power & Light Co., Rossland/Red Mountain Skiing history, and other interesting exhibits and photographs depicting the boomtown days of Rossland. The museum is also the local visitor centre and offers information on the local area through free brochures or our helpful staff.
