Dramatic and immersive story-telling which really brings these buildings and streets to life

Really enjoyed this virtual tour and looking forward to doing it for real once the Covid restrictions are lifted. It has been good also to compare the facts about Joseph Merrick with his portrayal in the film ‘The Elephant Man’. Although the atmosphere of The London Hospital and Merrick’s condition were vividly brought to life it was somewhat at the expense of factual accuracy.

Fascinating and thought provoking, deftly weaving history, science, medicine, ethics, around a thought-provoking human story.
