Audio tour CAVRIGLIA: places of memory

A tour through the history and memory of the communities affected by the devastation of the First and Second World Wars. We will guide you through memorial sites that honor the victims and tell the stories of those who lived and suffered during these conflicts.
We will visit monuments, gravestones and historical places that preserve testimonies of tragic and courageous events. Each stage offers a moment of reflection on the fragility of peace and the importance of collective memory.
We will start from the monuments dedicated to the fallen of the First World War, and then explore the memorials of the Second World War, when Cavriglia was the scene of dramatic events between 4 and 11 July 1944. Each place chosen for the tour has a particular historical meaning and contributes to preserving the memory of the victims and their stories.
Through detailed narratives and personal stories, we will give voice to those who can no longer speak, so that their sacrifice will never be forgotten.
