For centuries, Jeddah has been the welcoming gateway to Makkah, receiving pilgrims from every corner of the world. Ships arrived here carrying spices, fabrics, perfumes, stories, and dreams — and the city grew with that spirit of openness.
Our tour begins in Al-Balad, the historic heart of Jeddah. where narrow lanes, old coral-stone houses, wooden rawasheen balconies, mosques, markets, and city gates. They still whisper memories of merchants, families, and travellers. Walk slowly, looking up at the beautiful carved windows and feeling the rhythm of an old port city.
Later, we will explore Jeddah’s wider cultural story, from traditional houses and museums to the modern waterfront. As the day moves toward sunset, the Red Sea will guide us to the Corniche, the famous fountain, public art, and the peaceful Floating Mosque.
