About the museum

The armory, the collection of weapons, and the fascinating selection of Renaissance paintings tell the story of this extraordinary fortress.

In addition to the possibility of ascending through the 14 historic gates of the fortress, you can also reach the castle via the Fürst-Max funicular railway.

A rich cultural program with concerts, art exhibitions, and festivals invites visitors to discover the many facets of the fortress.
