About the museum
The church with a "wedding-cake" tower; St. Paul's Church is a "gothick" masterpiece designed by architect Daniel Hague. It is the crowning jewel of the grade I listed Georgian Portland Square.
Shortly after the church was brought into the care of the Churches Conservation Trust in April 2000, they forged a partnership with local circus academy Circomedia to breathe new life into the historic church. The project not only revitalised the historic building but has contributed to the regeneration of a left-behind area.
You can enjoy finding out more about this magnificent church and the community it founded with this collection of audio tour exhibits, brought to you by the Churches Conservation Trust.
