Our first stop takes us to the Snow Stores, fascinating relics of the past. Here, during harsh winters, snow was collected and stored in large pits to be used during the warmer months. A brilliant example of ingenuity and sustainability that tells the creativity of the people of this region.

Continuing by e-bike, we delve into the green heart of the Altopiano delle Pizzorne, where we encounter the meadows: vast stretches of open grasslands and towering trees. This place, which has been an important crossroads for centuries, lets us imagine merchants and pilgrims meeting along ancient paths, bringing goods and stories from distant lands.

Our journey leads us to the Church of the Crucifix, a small jewel of faith and spirituality. Its walls tell stories of devotion intertwined with those of the territory. The chestnuts, dried and turned into flour, were a vital resource for mountain communities.

The route continues to the Mill, an old chestnut flour mill. Here, the sound of stone grinders takes us back in time, evoking the artisanal knowledge and patience needed to transform a simple fruit into a valuable food.
