ROOM 1.

15th century pavillon vaulted room on travertine corbels; on the walls decorations with symbois of the Orsini family (in particular, a mastiff necklace, symbol of military fidelity and the fleur-de-lis of the Farnese the family of Niccolò lll's wife).

The polychrome ceiling representing «The triumphs of the Orsini» was restored in 2013.

Fresco with scenes and metaphorical images of war victories, obtained by Count Niccolò III, especially for the Republic of Venice.
You can admire seven wagons with leaders, driven by symbolic animals. They also admire a young nobleman joined by a falcon and a bear.
At the center of the fresco is the coat of arms of Niccolò III.
In the outer circle are painted the twelve signs of the zodiac and the four cardinal points, representing the sky and the universe, the center of which lies the noble family.
