Ștefan Câlția. Storytelling Objects.
The Art Collections Museum (Calea Victoriei, nr. 111), part of The National Museum of Art, Romania

The placement of the objects within the museum space, alongside the works of art, without necessarily an immediate link between them, invites to reflection and conversation, brings forth curiosities as well as calls for intercommunications. These are also formed by the Audio Encounters, recordings with the artist Ștefan Câlția in which he presents the objects from a personal view. Through the ideas these objects represent, the encounter between them and the painter generates the discovery of inherent values, as well as the adjudgment of new values, even though we refer to artistic, cultural, moral or social values.

Superba expozitia, completată armonios de povestile pictorului!❤

Astăzi am fost la expoziția maestrului și, pe lângă lucrările si exponatele minunate, am avut surpriza sa îi ascult câteva gânduri spuse in cadrul unei întâlniri cu public. Ajunsă acasă nu am putut adormi înainte de a asculta povestioarele pline de savoare despre fiecare exponat in parte. Îl admir pentru arta lui, pentru faptul ca este monarhist, pentru faptul ca este fagarasan și pentru ca este OM.
