博物馆 The Museum that doesn't exist yet

The museum we propose here houses in a virtual way the canvases painted by master Ernest Verner, donated by his brother to the City of Fasano. We want as the Friends of Ernest Verner Association to do a reverse process, to show you an art collection with the hope that from virtual representation we can soon move on to being able to see these works in a real exhibition space! The City of Fasano on November 14, 2016, received from Ernest Verner's brother, a wealthy antiquarian, whom we have visited several times in Switzerland and who enthusiastically welcomed our Association's commitment to promote his brother's art, a donation of 30 paintings pledging to create a House Museum and the naming of a street. The street was named but 9 years have passed and these paintings have not yet been exhibited. We hope that our assiduous and passionate work of research and study on the life of this artist, who has left us a significant artistic-cultural legacy, may be a stimulus to finally show these paintings to a wide audience, so that Verner, whose fate seemed to be similar to that of so many artists who have remained in oblivion, may also be given due recognition and may finally be returned to his coveted citizenship: art!
