Meteorite Dronino

The Dronino's meteorite represents the polished fragment of an individual instance of the iron meteorite (or ataxite) found in 2000 near the village Dronino. Natural surface has the melted-off structure inherent to meteorites.

Ataxites belong to the group of iron meteorites of rare type, with a high content of nickel, without an expressed structure.
