A few practical points to begin with. Our tour will begin at the foot of the Marian Column at the centre of Marienplatz and the nearest subway station is also called “Marienplatz”. We’ll be visiting a number of churches along the way and it’s worth bearing in mind that they’re generally closed from 6 pm for mass.
