Audiotour Highlights of the Turyanska Valley

«Highlights of the Turyanska Valley» is a road trip route in a small but very interesting part of Transcarpathia, the valley of the river Turya. The world's first monument to a postman, traces of the British monarchy, local French cuisine, North American natural habitats, this is a non-exhaustive list of what you will get the chance to learn about. During the trip, you will be able to enhance your health in the famous Lumshor chans (vat saunas) and even immerse yourself in the atmosphere of a classic 19th century park of the aristocracy. At the end of the route, wish yourself good fortune near the Miraculous Stone and relax on the shores of a mountain lake under the largest local mountain range Polonyna Runa.

Yurii Slavik is a local historian, guide. He has a double specialty: historian and tourism expert. He is a Candidate of Historical Sciences, works as an associate professor of the Department of Archaeology, Ethnology, and Cultural Studies at Uzhhorod National University.
