The fascinating story of a widow woman born in Belluno, forced by circumstances to emigrate to unknown Brazilian lands, bringing with her seven children. Several obstacles hinder the way, such as the hostility of a vast and uncultivated territory. She manages to face and overcome obstacles, even though the then-society thought that a woman without a husband couldn't get by. Thus, Mamãe Ana becomes the point of reference of an entire community in Caxias Do Sul, and still nowadays she is remembered and honored with a statue in front of the church built thanks to her.
