(Neopsephotus bourkii)
The Bourke's parrot is native to Australia. It is active at twilight. It is a small parrot very related to budgerigars. The length of the bird is 22 cm; the length of the tail is 11 cm. The body is stocky; its top covered with brown feathers of olive shade; the belly is pink-red. The feeding and keeping are the same as that of budgerigars but the Bourke's parrot breeds in captivity much worse than budgerigars.
