Museum Hawa Mahal - The Pink Wind Palace

The Hawa Mahal, meaning the ‘Palace of Winds’ is located at Badi Chaupad region of Jaipur. The Hawa Mahal was built in the year 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh (who was also the grandson of the founder of Jaipur). The entire structure of Hawa Mahal is built with red and pink sandstones which was designed by Lal Chand Ustad.
