Muzeu Bakkerij Museum

In the heart of the historic town Medemblik stands the bakery museum “de oude bakkerij”. The baker not only knows anything you want to know about the museum, but he also gives regular demonstrations of cake- and biscuitmaking, marzipan, chocolate and sometimes old fashioned breadmaking. The delicious smell greets you when you walk through the door. He uses the tools that are displayed in the museum: a variety of machines driven by hand and different moulds. He bakes it all in an old oven.
