Welcome to Beniganim!

During this route, Jerónimo Tarazona, one of the most famous and at the same time unknown characters in the town, will explain the most emblematic places of our town.

For those of you who do not know him, Pedro Jerónimo Tarazona was born on January 28, 1547 and comes from the illustrious lineage of the Tarazona de Xàtiva who settled in Benigànim. He studied at the University of Valencia and was a Doctor of Law, Robed Advisor to the Government of Orihuela and Regent of the Supreme Council of Aragon (the most important legal institution in the kingdom).
His work, Institucions dels Furs y Privilegis del Reyne de Valencia e sumari repertori de este, was published in 1580 and is an exposition of the legal dispositions of the furs of Valencia.

Thus, through his wisdom we will be able to experience a journey through time and history to get to know this town with medieval origins.Follow our friend and play with him to admire the charm of Benigànim!
