    Slunečná lookout tower is located on an elevation and in a wine tourist area at an altitude of 225 m above sea level near the South Moravian village of Velké Pavlovice. It is situated in the Nadzahrady wine track and close to the Modré hory (Blue Mountains) cycling route.

    The lookout tower was built within the framework of the Cross-border Cooperation Programme Slovakia - Czech Republic 2007-2013 with the project name "Look around and explore"..
    The construction of the tourist area started on 9th of March 2009. The designer of the tower was Ing. Martin Novák in cooperation with Ing. Antonín Olšina.

    The basic characteristic of the lookout is its atypical shape, an unusual deviation to the side towards Velké Pavlovice. The foundations of the tower are reinforced concrete, white limestone was used for the base. The material used for the construction was mainly wood in combination with steel structures.

    The platform of the tower is extended towards the village of Velké Pavlovice. In the northern direction you can see the village of Němčičky, and in the distance behind them you can see the South Moravian metropolis of Brno. In the eastern direction you can see Hodonín, in the south-eastern direction the town of Velké Bílovice and also the partner town Senica in Slovakia (50 km away by air). In the northeastern direction there is a beautiful view of the village of Bořetice with the local lookout tower Kraví hora (2.8 km away as by air). To the south you can see the village of Podivín and behind it the town of Breclav. The most beautiful view is to the west, behind Velke Pavlovice you can admire the monumental Mušov Lakes and behind them the silhouette of Mountains Pálava.
