In the Great Steppe, the word was most valued. The well-known Polish exile B. Zalessky noted: "The Kazakhs are eloquent, and they themselves consider this to be a sign of good upbringing or noble origin."

The value of the word increased due to the fact that among the steppe people there were strong traditions of oral communication.

Significantly increased the weight of the word, the power of verbal conversion at the crucial moments of history. The world treasury of the literary word includes the works of Abai, Shakarim, the star galaxy of Kazakh thinkers and litters.

Traditions of respect for the word have come down to our days. One of the recognized speakers, experts in the word is Nursultan Nazarbayev. On the one hand, he absorbed oratory from childhood from his relatives, his surroundings and the people of Aulchany. In the fire of a metallurgical plant, in battles of political and social work, he was tempered as an orator who knows the value of a word, as a theorist, consistently expounding arguments, political or professional credo.
During these years he published more than 40 books, some of which represent his collections of articles and interviews, united under a single plan.

     On this "table" are presented some of them that cover the entire period of his activity in chronological order and affect various aspects of the life of society. One of the first fundamental works of N.A. Nazarbayev was the book "Steel Profile", published in 1985, on the eve of the so-called "perestroika." It is devoted to the history of the creation of a metallurgical base in the republic.

    The book "Without Right and Left" is a lengthy interview of the President of the Kazakh SSR N.A. Nazarbayev, which he gave to the journalist of the editorial board of the publishing house "Young Guard" in Alma-Ata in March-April 1991. The publishing house chose one of the first for such a lengthy interview. Nazarbayev as one of the most popular politicians of the collapsing Soviet Union. He was popular both in Kazakhstan and the USSR, and far beyond. Here the Head of State narrates about childhood, about his ancestors, close and dear, the years of formation. Standing apart are the reflections on the further development of Kazakhstan and the USSR in the short term.

 Among other works I would like to pay attention to one of the first, which outlines the views of Nursultan Nazarbayev - the founder of modern Kazakhstani statehood. This is "STRATEGY FOR FORMATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF KAZAKHSTAN AS SOVEREIGN STATE". This work was written in 1992 and the main epigraph of this edition selected the following lines: “We must take this path if we seriously want to rise from our knees and live normally”.
