This east canal cruise takes you along the east side of the medieval city centre of Amersfoort.
Along the way you will see among others the birthplace of Piet Mondriaan, the synagogue, the House with the Purple Panes, the Thieves' Tower, the "Koppelpoort" (a combined water and land gate in the second defence wall) and so on and so forth.
Please note that this east route takes about 60 minutes and includes a 10-minute walk plus 2 steep flights of steps. Therefore it is not suitable for people with MOBILITY PROBLEMS!
