Audiotour My Village

In 1913, my village was widely applauded for the progressive modern style of his artwork. Hansi helps us explore an Alsace of legend, picturesque and proud of its past. The traditional clothed children are carrying the plumcake to the bakery and one is making fun of the ridiculously illustrated german tourists. It also depicts the issue of Alsace's protest against the domination of Germany and can be consequently interpreted in different ways.
