Audio tour Accessories Gallery - for younger visitors

This area of the Museum is all about accessories: the little extra things that people add to their outfits to make them more interesting. There are groups of shoes, hats, jewellery, fans, bags and much more.

Lots of these items were made by hand. The people who created them didn’t use any machines to help them. They used their clever fingers and sharp eyesight instead. When you look at these things you might like to think about how long you would have to practice before you could make such perfect things yourself. But remember, if they could do it, then so could you!
