The anti-torque exhibit shows four approaches to overcome torque – the tendency for a helicopter to rotate in the opposite direction to the spinning rotor. (Newton’s third law of motion says that “For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.” Torque effect is a tendency of the rotational force of the main rotor to exert an opposing rotational force on the fuselage.)
