Audio tour C - Heritage Gallery

The Heritage Gallery includes the original cottage kitchen with our collection of domestic utensils, crockery and cookware. Note the cool safe and ice chest near the dresser, and take a close look at the clock on the chimney breast.

The gallery also contains our collection of firearms, a display entitled Locked Up which focuses on Port Macquarie Gaol, and Federation Comes to Port  which tells the story of Port Macquarie’s role in Federation through its connection with Edmund Barton, Australia’s first Prime Minister.
