All Saints stands at the end of a lane behind the moated Church Farm. It has a charming round tower that is early Norman in origin. Also noteworthy are the massive early 13th century font, medieval benches with animal shaped ends and some attractive old glass. The Suffolk Wildlife Trust cares for the churchyard which abounds with wildflowers in the early summer and contains several well carved 18th and 19th century headstones.
All Saints is one of the six South Elmham parishes; formerly there were ten, which made up a 7th century township. St Nicholas South Elmham, whose church has long since disappeared, is now part of this parish.
The remote situation in an area with so many churches led to All Saints being vested to what is now The Churches Conservation Trust in December 1978.
