    The "Along the Roads of Death in Bessarabia" project is implemented by The Agudat Israel Moldova with the support of The Claims Conference, the German Federal Ministry of Finance, the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance, and the Matanel Foundation, in partnership with the Elie Wiesel National Institute for Studying the Holocaust in Romania, the Museum of History of the Jews in Moldova and the Institute of Oral History of Moldova.

    We would like to especially highlight the project team: Dr. N. Alhazova (coordinator), Dr. N. Dragusin (Romania), chief scientific consultant and author-copywriter, consultants and editors Dr. I. Shihova, Dr. Yu. Palihovici, historian and publicist A. Tulbure, cameraman and photographer M. Miftahov, and local experts Iu. Zagorcea (Edineț), I. Gortolum (Bălți), A. Mirocinik (Soroca), Iu. Kreiciman (Tiraspol), and O. Ukstein (Dubăsari). I. Freidkin (Rîbnița).

    Special mention should be made of the organizations and individuals who funded the installation of monuments and memorial signs in more than 20 communities covered by the project. While it is physically impossible to list them all, we provide a list of the major ones: the Ackerman family, American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, A. Bilinkis, A. Goldenberg, Iu. Grinfeld, the Halpern family (USA-Israel), Jewish Community of the Republic of Moldova, brothers Kon, I. Merzbacher and the Living Stones Association (Switzerland), the Nemurire Association, the Roif family, G. Roitberg, D. Fein, and R. Shlenker (USA), the Zelvenski family, and the mayoralties of the villages of Varatic, Ghincăuți, Cupcini, Terebna.
