Audiotour THE VOICES OF UŽUPIS | Immersive performance - promenade

If buildings, bridges, and monuments could speak, what stories would they tell about themselves? What would their voices sound like? What relationships would they have with each other and with us?

"The Voices of Užupis" is an immersive audio performance in which Užupis gains a voice, and well-known monuments and heritage sites come alive to tell their stories, inviting the listener to interact and co-create. In these short narratives, the characters of Užupis are born, grow up, change appearances, communicate, fall in love, and have their unique traits and personalities. Interesting facts about the district and its inhabitants, told by the performance's characters, are closely intertwined with myths and urban legends, conveying the unique spirit of Užupis, an atmosphere of freedom and creativity.

We invite you on a journey where you can hear the conversations and thoughts of those who, according to human beliefs, cannot think or speak. Our characters will help you hear the city and learn to communicate with it, becoming its confidant. Truly becoming one of its own.

Let go of what you are holding onto. And the city will reveal its secrets to you.
