Museo Deusto Expo Center

Deusto Expo Center is a new Events and Exhibition Venue in the Center of Bilbao. His 1200m2, was an old bus garage that has been disused for more than ten years. Now, carefully converted, but respecting that “industrial” architecture is a versatile space with unique features, a free height of 6 meters and a large room. These particular conditions make the Deusto Expo Center an ideal place for all kinds of artistic exhibitions, corporate or cultural events, workshops, product presentations, photography sessions, shoots, etc. Conditions that are reinforced by its magnificent location, a step away from the Deusto metro stop and San Pedro Square nex to to the University and just 10 minutes from the Euskalduna Palace and the Museums, the Guggenheim and the Fine Arts.

Since its opening in July 2019 the space houses the exhibition Gods and Kings of Egypt, consisting of replicas of monuments, sculptures and sarcophagus that give us a reliable image of these heritage wonders of humanity.  The large size of these replicas (greater than 6 meters) allows us to circulate inside and explore some of the most prominent characters of Egyptian antiquity such as
Ramesses II and his wife Nefertari and the young Tutankamon. 

DEC exhibitions and events are received with great interest by all kinds of audiences, adults, families, schools and other groups. The aim is to provide Bilbao with new leisure and entertainment activities. A must do, if you come to visit the Basque Country.
