Tour audio Dubai. A walk around the Burj Khalifa

Welcome to Downtown, a unique area in the heart of Dubai, which is the most impressive construction project in the Middle East. Originally it was part of an old army base, but today it is a real jewel in the crown of Dubai. Not only the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, is located here, but also the world's largest dancing fountain and a huge shopping mall, the Dubai Mall.

Downtown is a small area of Dubai, covering an area of approximately 1.5 x 1.6 kilometers. This area was provided for the development of the company Emaar Properties, created in 1997 specifically for this project. Most of the shares of Emaar Properties are owned by the Government of Dubai.

The construction of Downtown facilities began in 1998, and the total investment in the project exceeded $ 20 billion. To date, all major structures have been completed, the area is functioning and has acquired its completed appearance. The wide marble sidewalks make it ideal for long walks - here you can enjoy visiting restaurants, galleries and numerous shops. We suggest you go for a walk around the area and discover it for yourself with the help of our audio guide.

To visit Downtown, it is most convenient to use the metro, as it is adjacent to the Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall station on the red line of the metro. A covered pedestrian bridge called the "Sky Bridge" leads from the station. Our route will start from there - we will walk through the shopping center, visit the Burj Khalifa, look around the fountain, walk along Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard and finish our walk in the Dubai Mall. This tour will take several hours, depending on how much time you decide to spend on each stage.
