Through city adventures is riding a tram»
These are line from Ekaterina Kirolova verse «Along the Silver Rails». They suit perfectly for the beginning of our first route. The citizens of the city called this route by the name of the tram number one - Onsy. Millions of passengers used this transport but few of them know about historical mysteries and events that were happening on the streets and squares and inside the buildings which the tram passes by. We recommend you the route which helps you get to know the city better and, perhaps, even make some discoveries along the way. There are several points during our trip when you can get off the tram and look closely at the sights of interest. But it’s up to you whether you go on the tram without stops or get off whenever you want!
The audio-guide is created as a part of the joint project «Irkutsk Routes» by the brotherhood in the name of St. Innocent of Irkutsk and by the Irkutsk Regional State Universal Scientific Library of Molchanov-Sibirskiy.The project is implemented with the support of the presidential grants fund.
