    The territory of the campus began to form at the beginning of the 20th century, when the Omsk Agricultural School was located here. The place was suburban. It was a few kilometers away from Omsk border. That was why battle houses, a bathhouse, a power station, a polyclinic were appeared on the territory. In 1919, the territory with all the buildings, experimental fields and others was transferred to the Siberian Agricultural Institute, which moved here in 1920. Over the years, the campus has been developing. There were new buildings, dormitories, a library, a park on the territory. The Institute has undergone many reorganizations, now it is called Omsk State University named after P.A. Stolypin. Many historical events of the country and Omsk have left their imprint here. Now it is one of the most beautiful corners of the city. It is beautiful at any time of the year and in any weather.
